Running Log

Distance: 3 Miles
Time: 25:16
Notes: ran 3 miles because the gym was going to close before I could run any further.

I think I am going to post my runs on this as a way to track my progress and get advice from my running expert friend who reads this:). Now we are off to the store to buy Charlie a white t-shirt that he will use in daycare to make a leaf print shirt (so festive). I hope you are having a good weekend.

You are so fast! I am so impressed! I went out to do a long run today and came home at 2.5. I am really sensitive to lacking Omega-3 oils (my ankles and shins feel really tight) and I still hadn't warmed up at 2.5 miles, so I walked home and John ran 13.75! It's his longest run ever.

On another note, I regret writing on V's blog. I won't say much more, but I shouldn't have. I shouldn't have put what I did up on my blog either, which is why I took it down after one night. I woke up in the morning, and was like "oh no, what was I thinking." I'm doing it again. I see a pattern :)

Maybe I should make a leaf print shirt for Bella and Sam...Do you want to hear something really gross? Our apartment has kind of smelled bad since we got Sam, and I thought it was just the cost of having two dogs. We got a carpet (I don't know if you remember it, but it was here when you were here) and I've been vacuuming it with a little hand-held dirt devil. I finally couldn't stand it and went and got a real vacuum (and other miscellaneous cleaning/organizing utensils). One time over the rug and there was a hair ball the size of a squash, something a little smaller than a football - I'm not kidding. And the house doesn't smell at all. I feel so ashamed that I never took care of it before (but obviously not ashamed enough to keep my mouth shut). It was just so gross...

Hey. I don't think you should regret writing on V's blog. It is hard to not respond to something that is obviously directed at you.

You don't have to be embarrassed about lack of vacuuming with us, you should see what we find from Charlie. Charlie and Sam/Bella have a lot in common. No hairballs, but lots of crackers, fries, orange slices, smashed bananas, etc.

I wish you and John were going to come to London in July, then we could do the 10K together.
Talk more soon,
Jeanne
